This series goes into depth both as a demo of the new Celestion Plus IRs (Impulse Responses) and an explanation of what impulses are, and how you can use them in a lot of situations, even if you tend to use real speakers most of the time.
The speakers used in the impulses are the Alnico Blue, Greenback G12M, Creamback M65 and H75, G12-65, Vintage 30 and G12H Anniversary, all in 1×12 open back, 1×12 closed back, 2×12 open, 2×12 closed and 4×12 closed back.
These are all captured with an SM57, a Sennhiser 421, Royer R121 ribbon, and a separate Room mic, all with different tones from being in different positions, and also provided are ready-blended impulses so you can upload a single file to your Axe-Fx, Kemper, Two Notes Torpedo or other hardware impulse loader, or even keep things simple in software.
