It’s been a while since the original build of our Silent Audio production PC (as in completely silent, not “quiet”, but 0dB ) – and things have evolved a bit.
With more screens, a graphics card with more power and outputs was needed, so as a stopgap an NVidia Geforce 750Ti was installed – this had a fan on it though, so it had to go. Also, it seemed to be causing a few low-latency issues with intermittent audio glitches….
The fix? A multi-output Quadro NVS 450 card! Expensive? No! eBay is often your friend.
