Today’s video covers how to get a great sound out of virtual drum plugins, such as Superior Drummer 2.0 and Steven Slate Drums 4. This also works for all the other major drum VSTi plugins, and is focussed specifically on how you would do this in Reaper.
Being able to split your drums out into separate channels enables you to mix them with plugins of your choice, send them out to your own reverbs/parallel compression and so on with no limitations.
